ANGEL ON MY HEADBOARD
I looked above me tonight and what did I see,
My guardian angel was there carefully watching over me.
He sat on my headboard and smiled down with love,
That surely had come from the Man above.
His eyes twinkled in the dark and I could clearly see,
This lil angel was there to bring peace unto me.
I could tell from his face he had been sent with a chore,
To tell my sad heart you'll be lonely no more.
He whispered silent words "You've got a friend dear,
And He'll mend your heart if you let Him come near.
Just give Him a chance and surely you'll see,
He's the friend and confidante you thought Him to be."
I gave thanks from my heart, and let my mind think,
Then looked up again, he was gone in a wink.
So I'll heed his advice and trust in your love,
For the words of an angel came from the Man above.

AS YOU GO YOUR SEPARATE WAYS
As you go your separate ways,
And your life begins to change,
I hope you won't forget me,
Even though the times are strange.
Please know my prayers are with you,
And I will be here by your side,
To support you in your choices,
And in someone to confide.
When loneliness seems to much,
And your heart is feeling sad,
I'll do my best to see you through,
Till the pain is not so bad.
I walked this road in your shoes,
Tho it was long ago,
I remember how the road alone,
Was one tough road to hoe.
The love that you have known so long,
Will never leave your heart,
It will always hold a tender place,
Tucked in that special part.
So as you go your separate ways,
May the angels rally around,
To protect your heart and feelings,
Till a sense of peace is found.

FRIENDSHIP HAS GROWN
Now the very best of friends
Tho strangers not long ago
This wonderful computer
Has made this friendship grow.
We know each others likes
And our dislikes they are known
We share our e-mails daily
The seed of friendship's grown.
We share our deepest secrets
Each knowing they'll be safe
Our friends heart wouldn't tell them
No matter what the case.
You've learned about my family
And I've learned about yours too
We celebrate their good times
Commensurate when their blue.
I praise you on your victories
And send a hug your way
You help me keep my chin held high
Till I see a brighter day.
So dear, sweet caring friend of mine
Please accept these words as true
I love the wonderful times gone by
I'll love sharing new ones too!

GOOD NIGHT MY FRIEND
Good night my friend,
May your heart find rest,
My wishes for you,
Are only the best.
May the sleep that you find,
Be peaceful to you,
May the dreams that you dream,
Be the sweetest ones too.
May the prayers that you send,
Come straight from your heart,
And flow to God's ears,
So your blessings will start.
Good night my friend,
And as you close your eyes,
Know my love is there with you,
Under these starlit skies.

HIS DREAM
He said "last night I had a dream, twas a dream bout me and you".
I asked him "Please to share with me, let me see if dreams come true."
He said, "Are you sure you want to hear, for your sweet face may blush".
I said, "Please tell me darlin, just say and I will hush".
And so, he sweetly began to tell, a dream so warm and kind,
I have to ask myself you see, will this dream we ever find.
He said we walked along a beach, hand in hand in soft moonlight,
Our shadows fell upon the sand, it made an awesome sight.
Then tenderly he touched my face, and gently kissed my lips,
We fell into a warm embrace, to the sand we slowly slipped.
His tender hands began to explore, my heart, my soul, my love,
He could see stars twinkling in my eyes, reflecting the heavens above.
And slowly, gently he gave to me, what we had both been longing for,
We climbed loves magic mountain, we opened loves magical door.
Then with hearts beating as one, we reached loves mountain top,
Our bodies closely entertwined , our love it flowed, we could not stop.
Then as the fires of loving died, and passions embers glowed,
He held me closely to his heart, my face, new bliss it showed.
Warm sands had been our lovin bed, now the tide was coming in,
It washed away every single trace of where our love had been.
He said, "My dear it was so real, I can see it clear as day,
I hope my sharing this with you, won't make you run away."
Now time has passed since that day, and a special love we've found,
A love that's true and honest, it's based on solid ground.

JOY IN MY MORNING
Joy in my morning, darlin that's what you are,
Your loves my sunrise, whether you're near or far,
Each day as I wake, and begin a new day,
For you to be safe, is one reason I pray.
Your love is my guide, to see the day thru,
It gives me my strength, to accomplish what I do.
I can see your sweet smile, and feel your warm touch,
I sing happy songs, I love you so much.
You had come to my life, when trials and troubles were there,
You helped me to face them, your wisdom you'd share.
You offered me patience, and forgiveness too,
On the days when the world would try, and make me doubt you.
Now the joy in my morning, it is there every day,
For I trust in your love, never fear it will stray.
We have created a world that is honest and kind,
There we share our dreams, and find peace of mind.
So my darlin, my friend, may you always be blessed,
May you know your loves safe, for with my life I''ll protect,
All your hopes and your dreams, and you secrets too,
You're the joy in my morning, I'll always be true.

LOVER'S LANE
Don't' take my heart and go to fast,
I've been down that path before,
Let me learn to care for you,
Don't push me thru love's door.
Let me get to know you,
And let me show you me,
And once we know each other's soul,
We'll know what's meant to be.
As we travel down love's path,
Let's share and care and trust,
For it is just these simple things,
That truly are a must.
It may take days or even months,
To finally realize,
That we have found the right path,
Love twinkles from our eyes.
From that day forth and onward,
We'll be glad we went with care,
That path will turn to lover's lane,
And oh the love we'll share.

MY WISH
My wish for you is sunshine,
And rainbows shining bright,
Plus happy love encounters,
Beneath the full moonlight.
My wish for you is good health,
That stays so every day,
But if some troubles find you,
I hope they quickly go away.
My wish for you is prosperity,
In all endeavors tried,
That success replaces failures,
And sad days when you cried.
My wish for you is peace of mind,
And love that's tried and true,
And friends who hold you closely,
No matter what you do.
My wish for you is answers,
To all the prayers you send,
I send you all these wishes,
Because I love you friend.

MY WISH, MY WONDER
As I sit alone tonight,
I wonder where you are.
I wish that I could hug you,
I wish it wasn't so far.
My mind is thinking sadly,
Are you doing well,
I wish that I could hold your hand,
And a secret I would tell.
I wonder if the bright moon,
That lights this summer night,
I shining down on you my dear,
Making a wondrous site.
I hear a song play softly,
Of love and lonely too,
I wish you were here with me,
To share a dream or two.
But my wishes and my wonders,
Can't answer what I miss,
So all I'll do is send you love,
Till we can share a kiss.

LONELY HEART
Every day I am a waiting,
For life to take a turn,
That the pain in my lonely heart,
Will no longer burn.
That just once more I'd see your smile,
A happy hug we'd share,
Instead of all the loss I feel,
More than this heart can bear.
I knew one day I'd lose you,
And I thought I'd carry on,
But loneliness has tortured me,
Every day since you've been gone.
The days have turned to years now,
Since you went away,
I hope you hear the words I send,
When every night I pray.
They are the words of thankfulness
For everything we had,
The words of love and missing you,
My dear sweet mom and dad.

MY ANGEL SAYS
Last night an angel came to me,
And whispered in my ear,
"You have met a special friend,
Who's becoming really dear."
"I know your heart's been hurt before,"
My angel said so sweet,
"But now you have a brand new chance,
To make your heart complete."
"Just take your time, and share your thoughts,
And always tell him true,
And you will see that he will be,
A blessing promised you."
"In time this friend will see in you,
What I have always known,
Your heart is big as all outdoors,
It's where your faith has grown."
Then as my angel fluttered off,
He looked back and blew a kiss,
"I send you love and laughter,
Just be you, and you can't miss."

NO GUARANTEE
There are no guarantees, that love will stay around,
Even when it seemed so true, this love that you had found.
It could have been the love, of a friend or of your mate,
When suddenly your heart gets broke, you're in a sorry state.
For with no rhyme or reason, that love is just now gone,
And you are left alone again, to try and carry on. You search your very soul, and try and
figure out,
Just what is was that happened, what is this all about.
The only thing you're sure of, is love has disappeared,
And now you face that one thing, that you have always feared,
You find that yourself alone again, there is no one to care,
There is no one to cherish, the love you have to share.
No guarantee means just that, no matter how hard you try,
You can't protect your loving heart, that sometime you will cry.
But one day if the fates allow, you may find a love that's new,
And once again you'll find your dream, someone to care for you.

SHADOW OF YOUR LOVE
You follow me wherever I go,
I'm never alone as one,
For the shadow of your love,
Is here till day is done.
On sunny days it's bright and bold,
And everyone can see,
That there's a very loving soul,
Strolling along with me.
On cloudy days you come and go,
You peek and then you hide,
But I know you are always there,
With every step and stride.
And even when the rains pour down,
And some might think you've gone,
It's your love there with me,
That keeps me going on.
Sometimes it is the candlelight,
That brings you into view,
And when it is, it is the time,
I hold the real, true you.
Oh how I love your shadow,
And what it represents,
That you and I now share a love,
And it was heaven sent.

THANK YOU ANGELS
Angels work in mysterious ways
When it comes to sending friends.
They seem to know just what we need,
When our hearts are on amends.
They know our longings, our hearts desires,
And how lonely we can be,
It makes me happy just to think,
They took time to remember me.
I feel that I'm the the lucky one,
Who's received their wondrous gift,
A chance to meet a gentle man,
Who gives my heart a lift.
I will do my best and try to be,
Worthy of this kind, sweet soul,
And maybe we can find the place,
That makes our hearts feel full.
So thank you special angels,
Your time has been well spent,
I promise I will make you proud,
And respect this gift you've sent.

The Other Half of Me
All of my life I have just been one part,
I was always one half, with a lonely heart,
But finally I know what was missing me in me,
Was the other half of my soul, now that I can see.
When you came into my life, with care, honesty, and trust,
In no time you made me see, a smile is a must!
You let me bear my soul, and all of my pain,
And through all of it, you loved me the same.
When you have troubles, and pain of your own,
You talk, I listen, our friendship has grown.
Now we tease, we laugh, and always seem to find,
That together we share, a special peace of mind.
Sometimes when we talk, or are just having fun,
Our words are the same, in complete unison.
Then we say to each other, it must be ESP,
But it's a close bond, a fact both of us can see.
My friend you're a blessing, who's made my life whole,
You balance my heart, returning your faith is my goal.
You're one in a million, and I'm most proud to say,
I'll be here for you always, Forever and a Day.

WHEN ANGELS CRY
She has been around a while now
And her job is going well,
The spark of love's returning
Again he sees a smile.
She shared her shoulder to cry on,
Gave hugs when he was sad,
Now he holds his one true love,
This makes this angel glad.
She shared his joy and his fun,
And saw his chin stayed high,
And now his once half empty heart
Echoes a peaceful sigh.
This angels work is nearly done,
And she backs away with pride,
But has a longing feeling
Tucked way down deep inside.
For angels rules you see are clear,
They give their best then fly,
Cuz when angels get their hearts involved,
That's when the angels cry.

Window To Your Soul
One look into those eyes so sweet, I knew what I saw there,
It was the window to your soul, and the love you have to share.
So many times I'd prayed to see, what made your heart so dear,
Now looking through those windows, the image is quite clear.
For in your soul there is a place, where truth and caring live,
And through your eyes and your sweet smile, you give all you can give.
That special sparkle in your eyes, says volumes from your heart,
And from your smile I knew one thing, that we would never part.
They say we each have our soul mate, whether lover and or friend,
And now that we have shared our hug, no more must I defend,
The remnants of the walls I'd built, though most had gone away,
Yet there still was a little one, that always seemed to stay.
But once I saw your soul I knew, I had nothing more to fear,
For you were all you seemed to be, kind, honest, sweet and dear.
As that final wall fell down, and slipped right from my heart,
I knew my special angel, had this planned right from the start.
