Comments: What can I say -- I am struck with awe!! As a widow with a teenage son to bring up the verse on "what Can I do for You?" really struck me like a ton of bricks. After reading it and seeing where my son was when his father, my husband, died and where he is today --I at long last realize that I succeeded as a mother and as a friend. I always took the time to listen to his stories, to his hurts, to his achievements. I look back with great pride at thos achievements - like"Most Improved Student," Eagle Scout at age 15, a school trip to Europe and having an audience with the Pope, graduation from high school, the long trip to college as a freshman, the transistion from a hurt and insecure little boy to a strong loving young man. How can I ever thank you for making me realize this at long last. Being a single parent today is not easy and success comes hard with all the obstacles that around them like drugs and alcohol but finally I now I did what I had to do and I did it well Thank for letting me see this at long last!!

When I experienced my own loss you were there for me like noone else has been, you tried to understand what I was going through and not judge me. In trying to reach that understanding, you opened your heart to others that shared the same pain of loss that I did, and reached out to them and comforted them with these pages. You gave them an outlet to express their grief in their own way, and to find comfort in the words of others. You have created beautiful sites from the heart and that is what makes them so special. Comments: A dear friend sent me the link to your web site on this, the first anniversary of my husband's death. April 6, 1998. I have been back several times today and each visit brings to me a little comfort. Your web site is a beautiful one, but it cannot compare to the friend that sent me so kindly here. She is a beautiful person who is also a widow. She has made this day a bearable one for me. She is filled with love and I hope I can one day help her.
