Comments: What a beautiful page. I have a friend who is still in the grieving stage after her husband's death about a year and a half ago. She has shared some of her poetry with me; the most eye-opening (or should I say heart-opening) one was entitled: "White is the Color of a Widow's Rage". I will be sure to pass your page on to her. I am not a candidate for date of the year as I am a happily married woman but we sure do have alot of similar likes and dislikes...probably more than my husband and I do. Comments: I loved your Irish writings. I am a full-blooded Mick. I have seen others of your work, sent by my same friend. I enjoy reading all of it. No I am not a poet. Many of my family members are but I was not so gifted(the gift of gab - YES). I am authoring our family history. Great fun. Get as much from your Grandma as you can and record it. As for favorite poets - years ago I found the works of some- one named JAVAN (man or woman, I don't know) As far as I know the books are still in print. The original was called Footprints On My Mind. They are small books with very large thoughts and feelings. I believe you would be very moved by them, as was I. Keep up the good work. Fran
